The hardest task

If you’re stuck on “how,” perhaps you’re dodging the real question:

“What do I actually want?”

Figuring out what you truly want forces you to confront your fears:
  • What if it’s too ambitious?
  • What if it’s impossible?
  • What if I fails

Nick, one of my Impact Multipliers clients, was in that exact place. He was spinning his wheels over how to grow his business: Should he scale his new offering? Add a new service to the mix? Double-down on the existing cash cow? And what would his unique value proposition be, to really stand out and be differentiated?

But the harder he pushed, the foggier it got.

So we stopped. Instead of tweaking tactics, we dug deeper into what really mattered to him.

What did he care so much about that he’d be willing to get uncomfortable, take risks, and make bold moves?

And then it hit him: the small change in focus that would make scaling this business a joy.

When he owned that, the fog cleared.

Decisions that had felt impossible suddenly became obvious. And he set his sights on a goal that was ten times more ambitious than before.

The hardest part of getting unstuck isn’t picking the right strategy—it’s having the guts to say what you actually want.

So here’s my question for you:

What do YOU actually want?
