Are you winging your pitches?

Leadership is delivered one conversation is a time.

And almost everything turns out to be a pitch.

Pitching might sound “salesy”, but it’s really about enrolling the other person into your beliefs:

Explaining why what you think is important actually matters.

Casting a vision that they buy in to.

And yet, often we wing it. And we miss some key steps – and we wonder why our pitch isn’t as powerful as we know it could be.

Here’s my process, zoomed in on the central components for brevity.

Having a process helps you cover all the bases, and improve it each time. For example, these four elements of my process force questions such as:
  • What do you really want to happen after your pitch?
  • What are the beliefs you need to shift, and have you assembled your evidence?
  • What’s the flow that will win over your audience?
  • Is your pitch packed with value, or are there lulls?

Every successful leader hits a wall.

Click the one you’re facing—and I’ll send insights tailored to break through.
