The 4 Levers:  A powerful conversation about value-creation with your executive team

Senior executives typically struggle to balance the need to run individual functional areas with the need to work together to drive the success of the whole business - and leave huge growth potential on the table.

Your executive team has the business reviews, the strategy discussions, the organisational updates. But one thing you might not have enough of is provocative thinking about how you operate as a team, and deep discussion about how you can change your patterns of behaviour as a team in order to serve the business more effectively.

Would your executive team benefit from a 30-45 minute facilitated conversation on "The 4 Levers"?

  • Discover the 4 biggest ways that most executive teams can deliver more value, without creating even more workload
  • Identify your current blindspot and the biggest opportunity for your executive team
  • Agree one “tiny next step” as a team to move things forward

This "mini workshop" is typically priced at 1000€ but given the uncertainty and volatility of the business environment in summer 2020 we are offering six of these sessions at no charge (first come, first served) to support CEOs in these challenging times.

Is my team eligible?

This conversation will add value to senior leadership teams responsible for driving overall business results across multiple regions or functions.  Typically the members of the leadership team will oversee multi-layer hierarchies (i.e. their reports have their own set of reports).

If you have received this invitation directly from us, and your executive team meets the criteria above, then you are eligible for this offer.

Who will run this session? Do I dare put you in front of my exec team?

The session will be run personally by Richard Medcalf, the Founder of Xquadrant.

Richard has been working at C-Suite level for the last 20 years; firstly as a Partner in Tech/Media/Telecoms strategy consultancy Analysys Mason; then as an exec at Cisco Systems (where he was part of a team set up by Cisco’s CEO to lead board-level innovative partnerships); and most recently as Founder of Xquadrant where he specialises in coaching CEOs and senior leadership teams to deliver their next level of results and impact.

Richard’s clients include Mastercard, Sanofi, Vodafone, Comcast, Sonos, Ecovadis, Air Liquide, Logicalis, Westcon-Comstor, Orange, Goldman-Sachs, and many more.

Why are you doing this? Is this a sales pitch in disguise?

There’s no hard sales pitch.  The session itself will be 100% “value delivery”.

We believe in the long game, in relationship before opportunity, and that adding value is the best way of developing business.

Of course, if you find the session valuable we’d love to discuss what next steps might look like.  But if now’s not the right time, that’s fine too.

What about the logistics?

Ideally, we would have a short (15 minute) 1:1 preparation call before the meeting, to get a fuller sense of your business context, though this is optional.

The session itself will take 30-45 minutes and will be delivered over Zoom or via your regular video-conferencing software. We’ll begin by diving straight into the mental models and 4 Levers framework, and then transition into a powerful facilitated conversation before wrapping up and agreeing on key insights or next steps for the team.

Finally, we’ll organise a short (15 minute) 1:1 debrief where we reflect on what we’ve learned, what your leadership learning is as CEO, and - if appropriate - consider any next steps together.

I'm interested. What next?

Let us know as soon as possible.  At this stage we are only planning on offering six of these for no charge.

If you would like a brief call to find out more, we can also arrange that.
